About BB MADENCILIK SAN. VE TIC. A.S.

We are manufacturer of white bentonite cat litter , With over twenty-five years of experience in bentonite mining, BB Madencilik has identified approximately 50 million tons of high-quality calcium white bentonite reserves through exploration activities conducted at its mining sites located 19 km from Ünye Port and 24 km from Fatsa Port. These reserves have been subjected to extensive analyses and testing in cooperation with MTA, MAM, and TÜBİTAK, as well as by our export customers and in-house laboratories. As a result of these studies, BB Madencilik’s bentonite products have proven suitable for use in a wide range of industries, including detergents, cosmetics, paper, pharmaceuticals, paint, moisture absorbers, ceramics, bleaching earth, and cat litter. In addition to its calcium bentonite sites in the Ünye and Fatsa regions, the company also owns approximately 2,000 hectares of sodium bentonite fields in Tokat Province, recognized as one of the highest-quality sources in the region. This provides BB Madencilik with a strong and sustainable raw material supply for both domestic and international markets. BB Madencilik operates a 16,500 m² production facility located in the Ünye Organized Industrial Zone, offering logistical advantages with its proximity to Samsun Çarşamba Airport (70 km) and Ordu-Giresun Airport (80 km). The company also maintains 10,000 m² and 15,000 m² storage areas in Ünye and Fatsa, strategically positioned near Ünye Port and with access to alternative ports including Fatsa, Samsun, and Trabzon, ensuring flexible and efficient sea transportation. The ongoing Black Sea–Mediterranean Highway Project, which will significantly reduce transportation time to Mediterranean ports, further enhances the strategic value of the region’s mining assets. With its own fleet of heavy machinery and vehicles and 6,500 m² of covered warehouse space, BB Madencilik ensures uninterrupted operations and reliable service throughout the year. Founded in 1999, BB Madencilik today takes pride in being one of the leading companies in the bentonite mining sector.
