Pet South America 2026, Latin America’s leading B2B pet event, opens August 12 at São Paulo Expo and runs through August 14. Organized by NürnbergMesse Brasil in partnership with Interzoo, the show is expected to draw more than 350 exhibitors and 27,000 professional visitors from over 20 countries.
The event is co-located with PET VET, giving buyers and suppliers simultaneous access to veterinary diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and clinical equipment. Visitor data from prior editions show that roughly 43% of attendees are traders, retailers, wholesalers and pet-shop owners, while 19% are groomers and 10% are veterinarians. More than half are senior decision-makers.
Exhibition clusters will focus on premium nutrition and manufacturing — including freeze-dried formulations, organic supplements and natural wet diets — alongside smart pet tech, boutique accessories and textiles, and veterinary innovation. Brazil accounts for an estimated 60% of Latin American pet food value, and the region’s mid-single-digit growth continues to outpace many mature markets.
For global manufacturers, Pet South America is the key H2 2026 window for OEM/ODM sourcing, distribution partnerships and regional market entry. The co-location with PET VET also underscores the veterinary channel’s rising strategic importance across Latin America.
