A company type is the primary role a business plays in the pet industry — for example a manufacturer makes the products, a retailer sells them, and a brand owns the consumer-facing name. We use ten types so buyers, suppliers and analysts can filter the directory to exactly the partners they need.
How are companies classified?
Each company profile is tagged with one or more company types when it is submitted or imported. The counts shown on this page update automatically as the directory grows, so they always reflect the live number of published profiles in each type.
Can a company belong to more than one type?
Yes. A business that both manufactures and distributes, or that operates its own retail stores, can appear under several types. Use the filters on each type page to narrow results by region or pet category.
How do I list my company under the right type?
Register a free company profile, choose the type(s) that match your business, and complete as many fields as possible. Verified and more complete profiles rank higher and are easier for buyers to find.
Are the company counts live?
Yes. Counts are pulled directly from the directory and recalculated whenever a profile is published, so the numbers you see always match what is currently listed.
