GlobalPetIndex is an independent B2B directory and market-intelligence platform for the global pet industry. This Editorial Policy explains how our content and company listings are produced, how we maintain independence, and how we correct mistakes.

Editorial independence

GlobalPetIndex does not accept payment for inclusion in the directory, nor for favorable editorial coverage. A company’s presence in our listings is determined by editorial and data-collection criteria, not by commercial relationships. Listing a company is not an endorsement, and absence is not a criticism.

Sourcing and accuracy

Our market-intel articles and company profiles are compiled from publicly available sources — including company filings and disclosures, official corporate communications, and reputable trade and financial media. Where we cite external data, the source is identified. We aim for factual accuracy and attribute claims to their origin; we do not invent figures, quotations, or events.

Corrections

We correct errors transparently. If you believe any article or listing contains inaccurate information, contact editorial@globalpetindex.com and we will review and, where warranted, publish a correction.

Authorship and bylines

Articles are written by Scott Zhu (Founder) and editorial contributors. Bylines are shown on each piece. Company listings are maintained by our data team.

Affiliate and partner disclosures

Some outbound links may be affiliate or partner links. Such arrangements never affect our editorial judgment, ranking, or the factual content of our reporting.

User-submitted and company-submitted data

Many company profiles contain information submitted by the companies themselves or sourced from public records. We review submissions but do not warrant that any listing is complete or current. Users should verify critical details with the company directly.
