Brazilian pet megastore chain founded in 1985 with its first store in São Paulo, selling pet food and supplies alongside home, garden and pool products plus grooming and veterinary services. It operates more than 240 stores across Brazilian states and the Federal District with about 7,500 employees, acquired services platform Pet Anjo in 2021 and the northeastern Mundo Pet chain in 2023. Cobasi merged with rival Petz in December 2025 to form Grupo Petz Cobasi after CADE approval required the sale of 26 stores in São Paulo state; Cobasi shareholders hold 47.4% of the combined company.
