NewDays is a Japanese convenience store chain operated by JR East Cross Station Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of East Japan Railway Company headquartered in Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. The brand was launched in 2001 through the conversion of station kiosks and the integration of the former JC chain, and adopted its current NewDays logo in 2014. It operates around 500 stores, mainly inside and around JR East stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area and in the Kanto, Koshinetsu and Tohoku regions, selling rice balls, bento, sandwiches, drinks and station-exclusive goods. JR East Cross Station operates 1,464 retail and service stores in total.
