Susan Mikota (DVM) and Hank Hammatt, our work is focused on: Care: We improve the health and welfare of elephants in captivity in Asian elephant range countries. Conservation: We support wild elephant conservation by mitigating disease transmission to the wild where captive and wild elephants interface, by serving on the IUCN Asian Elephant Specialist Group (AsESG), by supporting special conservation projects of other groups and organizations, and by providing free online conservation resources
