Pet shop chain operated by Cainz Co., Ltd., the Honjo-based home centre operator that runs 265 stores across 29 prefectures and employs about 13,700 people. Pets One locations sit inside or alongside Cainz home centres, selling dogs, cats, small animals and aquarium fish and offering grooming, pet hotels, self-service wash and dog training. Cainz was established in 1989 and is privately held; it does not disclose a separate Pets One revenue or store total.
