Originally founded by Thomas Philipps, the company is now run by the third generation of the Philipps family. Thomas Philipps operates more than 270 stores — 260 in Germany, 9 in Austria, and 7 in Lithuania — and employs approximately 2,500 people in branches plus 800 in administration and logistics across five locations.
