Central Garden & Pet acquires 80% of TRIXIE for €400M to build the world’s largest pet supplies company
Central Garden & Pet will pay up to €400M (€340M upfront + €60M earn-out) for an 80% stake in Germany's TRIXIE Heimtierbedarf — combining the US pet-and-garden giant with Europe's leading pet supplies and pet snacks company. Deal expected to close H1 fiscal 2027.
