Pet Valu Holdings Ltd. is a Canadian specialty retailer of pet food and pet-related supplies, headquartered in Markham, Ontario. Its first store opened in 1976, and the business has grown into a network of 863 corporate-owned and franchised locations across all ten Canadian provinces as of the end of fiscal 2025, the largest specialty pet store network in the country.
Stores operate under the Pet Valu, Bosley's by Pet Valu, Chico, Paulmac's Pets, Total Pet and Tisol banners, are mostly small-format neighbourhood units, and are largely franchisee operated. The company sells premium and super-premium nutrition, hardgoods and accessories, and markets more than 2,300 products under proprietary brands led by Performatrin.
Selected stores offer grooming and self-serve dog washes, and the business supports click-and-collect and home delivery through its digital platform. Pet Valu is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol PET, having completed its initial public offering in 2021.
