Kazyon is an Egyptian hard-discount grocery chain founded in 2014 and headquartered in Cairo. It operates more than 1,100 neighborhood supermarket stores across 23 Egyptian governorates, selling staple food commodities, dairy, frozen meat and vegetables, bakery items and household goods at low prices. The company employs several thousand people, runs five central distribution centers served by its own delivery fleet, and sells private-label ranges. Kazyon has expanded beyond Egypt, entering Morocco and taking a stake in the Saudi Arabian discount retailer Dukan in 2024, and is backed by private equity investors including Development Partners International and British International Investment.
