Founded in 2001 by restaurant owners Pam McAlwee and Ross Underwood in Arlington, VA, LDCRF exists to save homeless pets and place them in lifelong, loving homes. To scale this mission, LDCRF established two core facilities: RCC Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Care Center (RCC): Our urban facility in Falls Church, VA, opened in 2018 to expand rescue capacity and volunteer community access
