Jollyes record revenue — UK pet superstore chain Jollyes has reported record annual revenue of £169 million for its 2026 financial year, an increase of 8.7% on the prior period. The retailer opened 14 new stores during the year and reiterated a target of reaching 250 locations, up from 123 five years ago.
Context of the Jollyes record revenue
Growth has been driven by an expanding own-label range — including the Simply Jollyes and pet-health lines — alongside a rollout of frozen raw food stations that lean into rising demand for raw and natural feeding. Private label allows the chain to protect margins while offering value pricing, a combination that has resonated with cost-conscious owners.
Value-led expansion
Jollyes’ trajectory illustrates how value-positioned pet specialists can keep growing even as household budgets tighten. Rather than chasing the premium end alone, the chain has paired competitive everyday pricing with services and fresh categories that draw repeat footfall, such as grooming and in-store frozen food.
The near-doubling of the store estate over five years also runs counter to the narrative of retail contraction in some Western markets. Well-run pet specialists still see room to expand physical presence where the format and pricing are right.
